Day Trip Details
After picking you up from your hotel in Juan Dolio at the scheduled time, we'll take a minibus to the port of La Romana, where we'll set sail for Isla Catalina. During the trip on the motor catamaran, you can enjoy the sea breeze, entertainment on board, and the warm Caribbean heat. Plus, you'll have water, juices, soft drinks, rum, and beer at your disposal.
When we reach this protected island, which is part of the Cotubanamá National Park, we'll put on our snorkelling gear to explore the depths of the sea. Exotic fish and algae of all kinds await at The Wall coral reef, where you can enjoy the incredible marine biodiversity of Catalina Island to the fullest.
Afterward, we'll go in search of the Isla Catalina Beach, where you'll have free time to enjoy this beautiful sandbank, relax with views of the sea, and take a refreshing swim in the sea. Here, you'll also have an assortment of drinks at your disposal to enjoy!
You'll enjoy a well-deserved buffet lunch, featuring traditional Dominican food. Afterward, you'll have free time to relax in the shade of the coconut trees or sunbathe.
Finally, we'll return to the mainland and take you back to the hotels in Juan Dolio, where we'll arrive 9 to 10 hours after the initial pickup.
