On 04/6/23 I checked out of the hotel room 3003 and had a terrible experience. The hotel security guard took my bag from the Uber that was outside the hotel because they don't allow it to enter the resort. He said he needed the towel card. The towel was inside the room and the bracelet they didn't want to take off my arm. He was violent with another man and they wouldn't let the Uber leave to take me to the airport. After a lot of confusion and aggression I managed to remove my suitcase to go to the airport. I had two broken nails (photos attached) and almost missed my flight back. It's unfortunate to have to go through this, I had to call the police. Absurd, they need to improve a lot. I tried to contact the hotel management, but to no avail.

The hotel's various payments require greater transparency, such as the extra children's meal charges, which cost a lot of money. Although the hotel agreed to refund the money in the end, it inevitably affected the mood of the trip.

This property is one that I would go back to again. It feels like you are in a different world when you are inside of the resort. Palm trees, peacocks, turtles, ducks, and flamingoes are visible in the resort. My concierge, Rosel, was helpful and helped me book an excursion. The language barrier was a little difficult since the staff was Dominican but all understood some English. The reason I did not give it a full 5 star review was because of the Hot Tub and Sauna. For an all inclusive resort, it was an additional charge to use the Hot Tub and Sauna.

I went back and forth to decide if I should give a 3 star or 4 star rating. Ultimately, for a last minute, affordable all inclusive hotel option, this did the job- which is why I went with 4 stars. However, I will say that I was a bit disappointed in the room I was placed in. The plumbing was off, the sink and toilet had to be manipulated to work properly; and the linen on the bed had a stain when I first checked in the room. My other complaints are that housekeeping wasn’t thorough (didn’t take up old towels and didn’t fold blankets); and the alcohol beverages were watered down! I don’t think I experienced it as bad anywhere else as I did at this hotel. Nonetheless, the property was beautiful- lots of wildlife, the staff was very nice and friendly and the food was good for an all inclusive -although I would say the breakfast buffet wasn’t appealing. For the deal I got and the short stay I did, I was satisfied.

Lets start by the fact that it took 3 hours to check in because room was not ready when finally they gave us room there was no towels and toilet paper, then on the 2nd day we started getting a horrible smell from the ac ducts like rotten fish they never did anything about it even tho we call main lobny about 5 times, besides this food in restaurants was really bad only the buffet and tao were good.
Amenities like pool and beach were really good thats the only reason i can give them 3 stars
