Dislikedthe food quality was horrible and the time the restaurants were open was inconvenient. the staff is rude, unprofessional and careless. they assigned us a handicap room and when we told them we’re perfectly healthy, they gave us a hard time about changing it.

LikedThis customer service experience from JOSE LUIS was a VERY memorable one because, at that time, we literally got someone who was in the same situation as my wife and I. Someone, who UNDERSTOOD what I was going through as well as my wife. Someone, who displayed the core values of customer service. JOSE LUIS, I humbly appreciated your calm demeanor and valor in making sure that the room did not came with the smell. In making sure that we were good to go and had everything we wanted. The positive conversation we had. The extra steps you took to make sure my wife smiling and stress free, and that I was ok and calm, as this is our last vacation for a while due to expectancy of our first child. We definitely will never forget this and if we ever come back to Punta Cana, breakfast, lunch, or dinner is on us for you and your family. The WORLD needs more people like you
DislikedThis review is mostly focused on the inappropriate, unacceptable, and unprofessional interaction, my wife and I endured with Supervisor J. FERNANDO, who was working there at the time of our vacation during August 4 – 8. For one, I believe that effective and positive customer service is a true representation at face value of a company and that employees should be held accountable for their reprehensible standards displayed. We were given the room 1142 on the first floor. One of the male workers escorted us to the room. Once we entered room 1142, we immediately got hit with a very strong chemical odor that was inherently overwhelming. My wife, experiencing nausea earlier, immediately felt sick. All women who have been pregnant know that certain smells can easily cause nauseousness. I know this and I have never been pregnant. We asked the worker if there could be something done about the scent and he told us to “Just open the patio door, and it will quickly go away”. Well, we did but the scent was still lingering. Since the smell as intolerable, we called the front desk and was told to return to the receptionist to speak with a supervisor. Once we arrived at the front desk, I politely explained to Supervisor J. FERNANDO about the situation. I also mentioned to him, discreetly, that my wife was pregnant as other customers was around. FERNANDO told us “he is not sure if there’s any more room and will have to check”.FERNANDO became dismissive, disrespectful and unrestrained. FERNANDO stated “No one can just get sick by walking into a room”. He also stated that “other people never experience this and he never experience this as well”. He continued to say “how can you get sick that quickly”. FERNANDO’s voice became elevated and customers in the lobby could hear his outburst. It is important for management to have policies in place to PROACTIVELY IDENTIFY and APPROPRIATELY discipline employees who display this type of unethical behavior.
